Our mailbox is stuck shut. Suspecting that an overly large package shoved into the tiny hole is causing it to jam. Called the local number (for this post office) only for it to be disconnected at this time. Called the main USPS 800 number, only for them to give me the same disconnected number. When I explained that the lady replied that my only other option was to wait for my mailman to arrive and ask them to open it. So apparently the only option was to wait all day outside by the mailbox for the post man? When I asked that she said my other option was to tape a letter to my mailbox asking for them to call me to open it. My mailbox is not attached to my house, it’s just in my neighborhood. While on the line with her an unlisted number called and left me a message. It was sand lake post office. They said I could “hit the box with a blunt object” or “use an extension cord and blow dryer to in freeze it.” THE BOX IS NOT FROZEN IT IS STUCK. My husband and I have banged on it several times to unstick any potential ice. The key works. The box is stuck. I go into the post office to see if I can get this fixed as the post office phone number is disconnected. The supervisor spends the whole time treating me like I’m stupid and that the box is just frozen. Even telling me that they can’t help me because “they don’t have my key.” After I reiterated that it wasn’t my key, my key and my husbands key is working just fine she still insists it’s the key. I ask if she can just make sure the post man knows that we’re having issues and maybe can readjust the mail inside the box so we can open it. She takes down my address. And then spends more time talking down to me about how the mailbox works. She was pretty rude about it. I left with no answers and no help. Hoping the post man does literally anything. To sum it up. Post office is rude and unhelpful.

Honestly there is a lady here that isn't customer service friendly but she is helpful and nice. My issues have to do with mail to my mail box on foxridge Way. I get the wrong mail weekly. Several times now I have had a package show as delivered but nothing in my box or the key for the bigger mail box. Every mail carrier I ask says the same thing "this isn't my normal route"
