Never using FedEx again. Until this year, they have been reliable at ensuring Christmas gifts get to the states. This year, however, apparently I was missing info for customs clearance. I had 2 packages sent to 2 locations. Package one got cleared up quickly, so I thank Cory in logistics for doing his job properly. Package two has been stuck since December 10/25, & now requires some kind of clearance from the FDA, even though it contains the EXACT SAME food items as package one. It’s been made abundantly clear both packages were private gifts from me to a friend, & yet somehow package two is being treated as a commercial shipment. I can’t get the agent in charge of package two to return a call or an email, & somehow he’s always “out of the office” every time I phone, which has got to be about a dozen times at this point. In addition, I keep getting emails that the package “may be affected by customs,” but I’ve talked to customs, & they claim it’s not a customs issue, but a logistics issue. Every time I call I just keep getting the runaround, no one seems to be able to actually answer my questions, or solve the issue. If anything, it’s only getting worse.
All this has occurred after FedEx told me packages containing chocolate bars can’t be shipped via ground without getting sent back, forcing me to pay over $600 in shipping costs via air mail.
Now that I’ve jumped through every hoop, I have a suspicion my package is still going to get returned. Honestly, I have no idea, as the logistics agent in charge of package two has basically done nothing to return any form of communications. If package two gets returned, I will be demanding a full refund as this whole problem is due to FedEx employees not doing their jobs properly, starting with not informing me at the very beginning that additional information would be required for the packages to be cleared once in the U.S..
I can tell you now, this will be the last time I ship anything through FedEx, & I no longer recommend anyone use their services.

So, apparently I’m going to have to file a complaint in person.
On Dec 29, 2025 I managed to finally get through to the agent in charge of processing package two, named Christian. However, as soon as I said my name, he hung up on me. I immediately phoned back, & wouldn’t you know it, he was no longer available. I then requested to talk to a supervisor, & told a supervisor was also not available, but my case would be pushed to management, & I was promised I’d receiver a call back before end of day. It’s now been over 24hrs, no one from management has reached out, Christian STILL has not returned any communication, & according to the tracker nothing is being done with my package.
This is by far the absolute worst experience I’ve had with any company, let alone one as big as FedEx.
