I paid for express/expedited international shipping with an expected delivery time of 5 days, and my parcel has now been delayed for 10 days with no resolution. The shipment has been placed on hold for “shipment-related fees,” yet no payment link or invoice was ever provided via email, SMS, WhatsApp, or the DHL website. Customer service has been unreachable — phone lines are unavailable, chat support leads nowhere, and even official email addresses bounce back as “not found.” The delay is entirely due to DHL’s internal system and communication failure, not the customer. Despite being ready to pay immediately, there was no way to do so. Charging for express service and then failing to deliver within the promised timeframe — while also blocking the shipment — is unacceptable. I am requesting a refund for the express shipping charges and would strongly caution others before choosing DHL Express in Canada.

When it got to Edmonton, DHL sent it off to Loomis (who doesn’t deliver to me and doesn’t hold the package), so they sent it back to DHL. Then these yahoos tell me I can pick it up from my local Staples. Never any confirmation. Then I’m told nope, they already gave it to Intelcom to deliver to me. Intelcom has no idea and they currently have nothing in their queue that’s coming to my house. WILL NEVER USE DHL AGAIN!!!!!!!!
