My wife was having problems with the SIM card on her phone.
We went to store 8872 register 0001 and were served by sales associate Sahil B whom we found to be surly and unhelpful.
She explained that when she turns on her phone it reports that there is no SIM card and asked whether he knew why. He said “no” and behaved as though that was the end of the conversation.
She had to prompt him as to whether she could get a new SIM card and he said yes and proceeded unenthusiastically to replace the card.
He appeared to be completely uninterested in solving her problem. Maybe it was true that my wife’s SIM card problem was something that Virgin employees could not help with. He could have told her that in a more professional way and told her that she had to get the phone checked to the appropriate service provider. He did not have the Virgin customer service attitude we are used to and we were unimpressed.
Our Grade for his customer service is a D-
