- MSManvir SInghJul 27, 20231.0Do not trust this location! If I could select 0 stars I would have! I came here for a prepaid SIM card, the associate was rude to start off. I informed him of of the plan I wanted . After which he demanded that he needed a creditcard. Disclaimer: I have worked at a corporate Bell store for 4 years and sold prepaid plans more than 500 times and the system literally gives the option to either activate with a credicard or a voucher ! I asked him why I needed to provide creditcard and he said “ because you have to recharge monthly automatically” , which doesn’t make sense as you can recharge it monthly with a voucher as well. I spoke with my old coworker whom still works for bell and she indeed confirmed that the system still gives an option to use a voucher. This makes me wonder whether my information is safe here as my drivers license was used to fill out the “activation form”.

Although we needed the number only, the guy tried to push us the new cellphone we didn’t need like 5 times. I ended up saying “you are trying to sell us something we do not need” to his face, but he still tried to push a new phone! We left and went to Costco, where we got the same deal for $30 a month. And no one tried to cell us a phone we didn’t need.
