  I am a long time Great Clips client who had a great cut but was in need of a trim. From out of town traveling I saw a Great Clips on Mountaineer in Charleston WV and went in without an appointment. I was told it would be about 45 minutes though it was much longer. The stylist I got was due to be off but agreed to do me. She would not tell me her name though I did ask twice. Ten minutes later my easy clean 3" all around cut that just needed trimmed was turned into a messy box cut.

  Do not take young children to this establishment the lady who cut my sons hair made him look like Lloyd from dumb and dumber no patience at all then she messed my hair up showed her a picture of what I wanted and it included a hard part in my hair I even said I wanted the hard part she didn’t do it completely messed our hair up please save your money do Not go here!

  Hair cut was fine, but the 11% price increase far exceeds the current 3% rate of inflation. May stop the tip.

  I have taken my son to this location 3 times to get his hair cut. The first 2 times the same Blonde headed woman cut his hair and did amazing. We really liked her. This past time we had a different person who had not cut his hair before. She was an average height, brunette with glasses. From the jump she had a poor attitude and didn’t seem like she really wanted to be there cutting my son’s hair, but I let it go because everyone is allowed to have a bad day. I asked for a 2 on the sides and finger length cut on the top. My son is 3, but typically sits very, very well for haircuts since has been getting them once a month since he was 9 months old! (He has a lot of hair lol) so please know that him moving around WAS NOT the issue or I would not be writing this review. She sprayed his hair with water when she cut it (which I know is standard practice. I didn’t have any issue) but because his hair was so wet I couldn’t see just how awful the cut was until it dried. I will insert pictures for everyone to make their own judgment. His hair ended up being so uneven that I buzzed it off because it just put so much anger in me every time I looked at it. We like this place if you get the right person to cut your hair, but there are definitely some duds in the mix.

  We went in this evening for a haircut for my daughter who wanted a new, shorter look. Tiffany was so patient and listened to every word from my daughter to adjust as needed. She let my daughter feel the length and thickness and then fixed whatever my daughter preferred. Jessica was supportive and understanding. I thank you both for your care and patience with her and your willingness to make her comfortable!
