- EDEllie DaleJan 15, 20261.0My step daughter is a stylist at an Aveda salon, so she usually cuts my hair. But, she's 3 hours away so it's not like I can just pop in on a random Tuesday. Between the holidays and some health issues, it got away from me. Her next Saturday appointment (I can't go weekdays because of work) isn't until May... and my hair was so long and had so many split ends I couldn't wait that long. So, I went to Great Clips. I figured, it can't be that bad for just a basic cut, right? Wrong. It's SO UNEVEN. I didn't notice at the salon, but as soon as I got home, my husband pointed it out. I've never had such an uneven cut, ever. On top of that, I registered online. Wait time was 0 minutes. I checked in. Wait time was still 0 minutes. They said, "We'll take you back in a second." Great. Then a stylist's kid showed up and was taken back instead. All of a sudden my wait time was 22 minutes. Really? Between the lack of professionalism for letting a family member jump in line and the terribly uneven haircut, I can safely say I won't be back the next time my step daughter can't fit me in.

She then asked for her to leave the front front longer (like a Bob look) the lady told her no, it could only be done straight. At the end she told her she had 48 hours to come back if she didn't like it. How are you supposed to fix some she cut too short! And let's not forget to mention its crooked!! Lady, if you can't cut hair as requested, why are you cutting hair?!

If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
