  I recently had my hair done at this salon and saw Sarah & she was absolutely the best! She made me feel so comfortable right away and I trusted her completely with my color. She’s not only an incredibly talented stylist but also such a genuine person. The conversation flowed so easily & felt so wholesome. On top of that, she gave the best scalp massage, which was such a treat! From the moment I walked in, everyone was so kind and welcoming. The whole salon felt clean, cozy and like a little family, which made the experience even better. I walked out feeling amazing, and I can’t recommend Sarah enough if you’re looking for someone who is skilled, attentive, and truly cares about her clients.

  ‘Bleach can’t burn.’ I just recently had an appointment to get my roots re-bleached. Although I’ve had this done a handful of times already, this time I ended up with burns across my scalp. I love the stylist I’ve gone to and won’t list her because incidents happen and she has always been great, however, when I got back from work my scalp was hurting, so my husband looked and found burns across my head, some like open wounds, I contacted the salon. I just called asking if I could get advice on what to do after a bleach burn. No one knew and then the owner, proceeded to tell me, ‘Bleach can’t burn’ which either means she doesn’t have training or knowledge or was dismissing my claim because of liability. I didn’t ask for a refund or anything- just how to handle the situation. My husband talked to the owner while I was trying to treat them with what I found online until I could talk to a health professional the next day. He had to push her to even look into it, after she kept saying it was somehow my fault this occurred. I had to pay in full for the service, then for healthcare treatment post-appointment. And I currently don’t know how long it will take to heal. My only expectation is that if something happens in a salon, that the person takes responsibility, and treats their customers with decency instead of selfishly avoiding the problem. To have access to chemicals that could injure someone and refuse to be responsible is a huge liability and could really injure anyone that visits the salon. You can see in the picture attached it’s even in rows like how she applied the bleach to my roots Edit: Although the owner has responded, she only mentions the actions she took, not that my husband had to call her and push her to take steps she originally refused and we had to continue to contact her for updates, which were none.

  I have always enjoyed expert services and the salon is so nice. I have tried other salons and none compare to MCV. Amanda does a wonderful job cutting and styling my thick hair!
