- RRRBG - America RocksFeb 17, 20265.0It is a very nice location. Plenty of seating. Staff is super friendly and conversational. I got a great haircut and at a great price. They have great hours and it's very easy to check-in in advance via their website.

When Amanda went to check in my +2 she had issues, Which kicked my +2 to the bottom of the wait list. Amanda then proceeded to tell me that my+2 will have to wait until their names come up on the new order of the wait list. I told her that was unacceptable and she needs to explain to the customers that jumped in front of my +2 will have to wait as there was a computer error (or operator error). She rolled her eyes and chuckled. The other stylest proceeded to cut my hair. In the meantime, Amanda was cleaning up her area complaining about how is she supposed to get a lunch in with being so busy and the other stylest leaving at 2pm. After cleaning up her area, Amanda walked out of the room and didn't return for at least 15 min. When she returned (my hair cut was done) Amanda called for my grandson and my wife said no, we've been waiting long enough. No apologies, no trying to fix things, just pure attitude. We will not be back.

She's a really gifted hairstylist, and is very knowledgeable about the hair products that can be helpful. I'm so happy with the new shorter hairstyle that she was able to give me on the 19th, & hope that she stays at this location, because it's really difficult to find truly gifted hairstylists these days.

I walked in told the stylist Alyssa that I had a coupon but I was confused as to why it said that I could only use it at Chicago land locations seeing as I don't live in Chicago and I've never done any business down in Chicago she said don't worry about it and proceeded to cut my hair ,when I was paying she said I couldn't use the coupon because it was from Chicago after I had already told her that when I checked in. So she proceeded to charge me full price. I don't appreciate being lied to and it's sad because I really like this place

Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
