    I called ahead specifically to ask if they were able to do an ombré gel manicure. I explained that I currently had ombré acrylics on, but wanted them removed because they were applied too thick. I was assured I could book with someone skilled who could do what I was requesting. I scheduled an appointment for 4:00pm on a Saturday and arrived about five minutes early. I was told to wash my hands and that someone would be with me by the time I finished. The first sink I was directed to didn’t have soap in the dispenser. I found another sink that did. Minor inconvenience, but not what upset me. After washing my hands, I sat and waited for nearly 30 minutes with no update and no acknowledgment of the delay. When I was finally called back, the technician apologized for the wait but then said she wasn’t aware that I currently had acrylics and wasn’t sure she’d be able to see me. I explained that I mentioned this when I booked the appointment. She confirmed with the receptionist that there must have been a booking mistake. I was offered the option to soak off the acrylics, but was told I would then need to reschedule the ombré gel manicure for another day because it would put her about 40 minutes behind on her other appointments. I wasn’t upset with the technician herself. I was frustrated by the lack of communication and organization. I could have been soaking off my acrylics during the 30 minutes I was sitting there waiting. Instead, my time was wasted due to an internal scheduling error. I was also required to provide a credit card to hold the appointment, with the understanding that I would be charged if I cancelled last minute. I was assured my card would not be charged given the circumstances. It’s frustrating that customers are held to strict cancellation policies, yet there seems to be little accountability when the mistake is on the salon’s end. To make matters worse, there is no other way to contact the salon through their website other than calling the same number that mishandled my appointment. I understand there are bigger problems in the world, but as a paying customer who called ahead to ensure I had a smooth experience, what I ended up with was just disappointing. Clear communication and respect for clients’ time go a long way.

    Such a hidden gem! The atmosphere is so peaceful and the staff really makes you feel pampered. They have a huge selection of colors and the quality of the products is top-notch. My nails have never looked better!

    My assigned nail tech was sick and Beth and Erricka jumped in and saved the day. I got first class service and didn’t have to reschedule. This is important to me since I’m working and don’t get many days off.

    My family and I have trusted this salon for a long time. My sister even brought her wedding party here & we appreciate that it is clean. However, I was disappointed with a recent experience. My nail appointment was scheduled for 1 hour and 15 minutes, but I ended up spending 2.5 hours in the salon. I wasn’t called until around 12:25pm for my noon appointment, and then the polish repeatedly wrinkled no matter how many times it was redone (some nails as many as five times). I was patient and gave a lot of grace because my technician was kind and dedicated in trying to fix the issue, and I still tipped her for her work. What really disappointed me was how the situation was handled at checkout. When I asked if the salon would consider a discount given that I was there double my appointment time and unresolved polish issue, the cashier loudly and abruptly said, “We’re not allowed to because it’s not the tech’s fault!” I had already made clear I wasn’t blaming her, so the response felt dismissive, and overall I felt my time was not respected. She didn't even offer to bring the manager over to discuss. Upon reflection, I believe more time should be given between the paraffin treatment and polish to prevent issues like this. I value the effort of the staff, but the lack of customer service skills at checkout left me questioning whether to return. Other salons I’ve visited are more readily observant, stepping up to apologize and/or offer a goodwill gesture when a customer goes through something like this. Because of how this was handled, I am reconsidering whether I will be returning in the future, and I would appreciate if someone reached out to me regarding this experience. Improving the communication from a customer service standpoint would really go a long way for improving trust among customers and retention.
