Rowan is all about ears. We offer a fun, celebratory and safe piercing experience for everyone. All our piercings are done by licensed nurses and all our products are hypoallergenic. When we say “Piercing for All”, we mean it. Everybody is invited to this ear party.

I also got a helix piercing to go along with my girls (not my first cartilage piercing). The location is clean and the staff is very nice. However, the piercings did not go well. My helix and one of my daughter’s lobe piercings were crooked (so you cannot put the earring straight through). The healing time they quote is nuts. My daughter’s ears were still bleeding at that point. My other daughter has a permanent scar from the device getting stuck on her ear. It’s a straight red line away from the piercing hole. My helix was so badly done that the earring front got pushed out from the swelling. I went back to Rowan where I was told it was totally normal. I ended up going to a professional piercer because I was going out of the country and it had fallen out again. They very kindly helped me with a replacement earring that was longer. They also very politely explained that my piercing was so crooked that it would likely not heal properly, to give it 4 months but if this swelling pain continued they would recommend removing the earring and having it redone after it healed. I reached out to Rowan customer service about this and requested a refund for my piercing as it was the most problematic. I was given a refund for the piercing only ($36). The earring that was the wrong size and kept falling out is nonrefundable and the majority of the cost. From a hygiene perspective, having nurses is great, but the idea that a nurse knows anything about piercings is a gimmick (I say this as a registered nurse). Save yourself the headache, the insane price, and go to a professional piercer for you and your kids. You can look them up at the Association of Professional Piercers.

Rowan offers lobe, upper lobe, mid helix, helix, forward helix, flat, conch and tragus, however, piercing placement availability may vary by studio location. We do not pierce the daith, industrial, nose or other body parts beyond the ears.

We are a cashless studio.
