  I'm leaving wondering what the hell. So I came in for an Express cut for myself and a child's haircut for my daughter. It says online that the express cut includes a shampoo and conditioning thing but now blow dry. I got a dry cut that's it. Same with my daughter. Also when I booked online we were booked for the same time with two different people but when I got there it was the same person for both of us. The person was very nice but again what the hell

  Normally I’m pretty chill about my hair but this experience left a poor taste in my mouth. I came in asking for just a split ends trim and some highlights which resulted in this terrible haircut (first picture). I decided to put my hair in the hands of someone who recently started doing hair. The color wasn’t necessarily what I was thinking but I shrugged it off, thinking I didn’t communicate even though I did show a picture of how I wanted my color to look. I didn’t notice the uneven parts until after I got home, otherwise I probably would’ve asked if a pro-stylist there could’ve corrected it. I live paycheck to paycheck so I had to wait until my next paycheck to fix what should’ve already been covered. I ended up going to another salon who was able to fix it, unfortunately resulting in a bunch of my hair getting cut off as result (second picture). I’m sure it was just the stylist experience and they should’ve been honest they weren’t familiar with wavy thick hair. I spent nearly 300 getting this done and then corrected so I’m a little irritated and probably will just splurge on a more “seasoned” stylist in the future.

  **For long hair customers afraid to cut it or do anything like I was!** Please read Tatiana at East town Jcpenney salon in Madison Wisconsin has colored my hair twice. She has never cut it so I had a hair consultation to explain to her and show pictures. This is due to past experience of not finding a hairstylist since I moved here 10 years ago and having done anything at all in many yrs. My hair was straight thats it. She heard me out she saw my picture, she understood bc I have very long hair. It was past my buttocks. I needed a style I needed some volume taken out. In my current job on my feet all day I was getting tired of the messy bun look and just putting it up. She heard me out she has some magic in her hands wow! exactly what I wanted and here are the pictures she gave me curls which made me feel pretty. I haven’t had curls in a while. Not only did I leave with my beautiful layered some volume out with beautiful curls, but I didn’t wash it for like two days and when I did, I combed it, brushed it and got to see the beautiful layers now straight bc i have thick straigh hair Yesss! I was able to style put it behind my ear, part it on the side. I leave it down now and honestly my head feels lighter. Thank you, Tatiana , I love my hair!

  I got my hair done today and shout out to Jackie! I have been struggling with my hair for over a year now and no stylist could seem to do it right until today. I was really wanting a natural look with balayage and a long bob and she went above and beyond! It was great customer service and I definitely will be looking forward to continue going there!

  My daughter got her hair cut here and the woman completely ruined her hair and she had to go pay for it to be somewhat fixed at a different salon. My daughter is still dealing with her hair not looking right a month later.
