- CBCarrie Black6 days ago5.0Today I want to give a huge thank you to Calandra for the care and kindness she showed my daughter 💕 My daughter has autism and One of the daily living skills she struggles with most is hair brushing. For her, it is overwhelming and triggers a fight-or-flight response. Over time, her hair became too tangled for me to fix at home. Calandra met my daughter with so much patience, understanding, and compassion!! She took her time gently detangling my daughter’s hair and gave her a beautiful haircut—never once showing frustration. Calandra allowed her to express her feelings, encouraged her every step of the way, and created a space where she felt safe. Moments like this can be especially hard for girls who love having long hair but don’t yet have the skills to care for it. But my daughter left the salon feeling like a million dollars 🫶🏻🫶🏻 Just as importantly she never made me feel judged. As an autism mom, that means more than I can put into words. We often carry so much guilt and worry, and her kindness made all the difference. We set up follow appointments before we even left. I cannot say enough good things about our experience!!

- APApril PMar 30, 20261.0Stylist not good at bleaching hair had to do it a second time cause didn’t leave it in long enough the first time and not good at coloring hair also had to go over coloring the hair a second time cause she missed a chunk of hair. The second round she forgot to keep it light pink and ended up putting a darker almost hot pink shade in so, I didn’t get the original light pink she started with color I wanted. And the chunk she tried to fix ended up an orange color.

Her attention to detail was so impressive! I especially loved how she gave tips and tricks to overall cuticle wellness for in between visits. You can tell she is really passionate about nail care! I will definitely book with her again and would highly recommend her!

She was very friendly and we had a good conversation. The facility was clean and well taken care of. The bed was heated which was an added bonus.
