- SCSheila CroftMar 26, 20262.0I went to this hair Salon Great tips or Top cuts on California Ave. because, it was rated as an inexpensive way to get my hair, cut and styled for a passport photo plus,& a special event that I was planning for. One of the women hair dressers that works there greeted me in & scheduled me for her hair service right away , so, I did not have to wait. She scheduled me to have my hair trimmed, washed, dried & styled for me to get my picture taken. She was pleasant and very gentle. Important, she washed my hair , Not my head or scalp or, follicles. She did not touch my head with her fingers to wash my scalp. So, parts of my scalp were not washed near back of my head near my neck, was an area that did not get washed. She cut my hair in a layers format which, I liked and, she dried my hair well . But still not having my scalp washed made it weird. She sprayed my hair after drying and straightening/curling it which, turned out really well. Long story, my head and hair felt dry and disarray all evening I just needed and couldn’t wait to wash my head my scalp had to be washed correctly. In the hair dressers defense. I communicated with her early on in my appointment that I was in a traumatic accident a few years ago and I needed brain surgery, my head has scars and bumps , I apologize for if my head “feels weird “ to her. But, This is why I went to get my hair done , I wanted my head and scalp washed with hands , fingers. My hair cuts, dried, and styled for a passport photo. It cost me $ 85.00 I left a little tip but, next time I will look for another salon who will focus on hair & head washing as well as the cut, dry, style. T.Y. S

- ARAndrea RamosJan 25, 20262.0Not the best service, I wanted more short layers and he took less than 5 minutes told me he was done and put the blow dryer on my face and neck and took the cover off me. It seemed very rush when there was no line and didn’t even give me a mirror to look at back of hair, I had to take some time to look but was already waiting at the register for me to pay. The place was in bad condition, there was an accumulation of hairs all over desk and floor from previous clients, didn’t seem to clean after every client. Would not recommend this location, Bellevue location is a lot better!

If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
