  Was looking for a hair place for several years in the Vancouver area for my girls and myself. EXTREMELY happy with everyone. I was super nervous because I've had bad haircuts and have struggled to find someone who truly could handle my hair (thick, wavy, lots of it). Olga was amazing, great communication, and so sweet, not to mention the technical skill to accomplish what I and my hair needed. Sammy (she did my daughter's hair) was also super fantastic. She talked to my daughter as her client and not just me as her mom, to discuss style, preference, wants/needs, etc. She is bubbly, super fun, and also has great skill to accomplish what my daughter wanted/needed. Even from a critical point of view, I have nothing negative to say.

  This was my first time at Utopia salon. I chose this place based off reviews when searching for a stylist in Vancouver. Sami is seriously the best! I booked a curly hair appointment, since my hair has become curlier as I've aged, and I'm managing it the best I can. From the moment I sat in her chair, Sami was attentive and could tell right off the bat where I've had missteps without me even saying anything. She gave me tips and advice on what I could do to help my curls out, and recommended coming back in a few months to see the progress I've made. The treatment and scalp massage I got were awesome, and she definitely surpassed any expectations I might've had. With her previous experience and background in educating other stylists, I was absolutely put at ease. She even showed me some pictures of her artwork and her adorable cat, Winston. ♥️ Congrats, Utopia: You've won me over. Never let Sami leave y'all! She's definitely a rockstar!

  Sami is absolutely amazing! From the moment I sat in her chair, she really took the time to listen to what I wanted and made me feel completely comfortable. Her attention to detail and skill are next level.. my hair turned out even better than I imagined. You can tell she genuinely cares about her clients and takes pride in her work. The whole experience felt relaxed, professional, and honestly just fun. If you’re looking for someone who truly understands hair and delivers incredible results, I can’t recommend Sami enough. I’ll definitely be coming back!
