  Very disappointing experience. My stylist was over an hour and a half late for my appointment, and there was no meaningful effort made to accommodate the delay or acknowledge the inconvenience. What made this more surprising is that this is a corporate-run salon, where you would expect stronger standards around scheduling, professionalism, and respect for clients’ time. Unfortunately, the experience felt disorganized and poorly managed. When clients take the time to book appointments and plan their day around them, punctuality and communication should be the bare minimum.

  My hairdresser recently moved to Burkley and my next maintenance appt. was until May. I was in big need of a hair cut and I didn’t want to spend a fortune. Every place I called was at least $50 dollars, and nobody had anything soon. So, I decided to give a try to JCPenney salon, it wasn’t my first time but the first time in like 7 years. I was able to schedule the appt. on the same day and right after work. My hair stylist was Julia (Juliane Curry) and she was absolutely amazing 💕she knew exactly how to take care of my wavy, frizzy, and chemically damaged hair. She gave me some great tips and did I mention she shampooed, conditioned and added some treatment to my hair for half the price you usually pay at other hair salons? Yesss!! I am definitely coming back and soon I will bring my daughter too.

  I was very disappointed with the haircut I received on November 8th by Takindra a.k.a TK. I came into the salon with long hair and left with very short hair, which did not reflect the style I clearly communicated. The result was unsatisfactory and frustrating. To make matters worse, the stylist later contacted me directly in an argumentative manner, which only added to my frustration. Concerns should be handled by management to ensure professionalism, but in my case they were not. I ultimately had to file a formal complaint just to receive a refund, which speaks volumes about how poorly the situation was managed.
