- ALAaron LaurNov 8, 20251.0So I find out a month later that my stylist has moved to Tri-Cities, and when I call I tell him the situation because last time that Mariana cut my hair I wasn't happy with it and I confronted her and she promised me a free haircut next time I come in she just recommended that I dye it and that would basically take most of the lines out because my hair is multicolored cuz I'm going gray. So 2 weeks after the event I go in and she's not there and obviously my schedule is booked and I had to get my haircut so I got my haircut by another wonderful great stylist and was very satisfied. So I went ahead and paid and of course left a 40.00 tip and said be back in 2 weeks, I called today you know to get my free haircut from Mariana for the one she butchered a few weeks back and I get an assistant manager on the phone that basically tells me that I've got nothing coming that anything she promised me is out the window that if I want my haircut by Mariana it'll have to drive to Tri-Cities. I never called to start an argument but this assistant manager was so rude that it kind of ruined what I had going on for about an hour to where I called corporate. Very disrespectful very unprofessional. She basically made it look like I was out to get a free haircut and I told her lady look I've got money for a haircut that's not the issue I just was under the impression that your stylist Mariana owed me a haircut and I was after it. I should have been no disrespect or unprofessionalism. If you're looking to computer I've been going to you guys since I've been in Spokane. And why you wouldn't give me your name is beyond me but you are one of the most disrespectful people I've ever talked to over the phone especially over as silly haircut. If you would keep the people informed about who if your employees walk out or go to another franchise that would be great because a lot of this only go for one person to continuously cut her hair. So for your professionalism I give you like a quarter of a star

It’s not a big deal though,it’s not like I told you I have my companies end of the year black tie event this weekend with over 1000 people there or anything. And to anyone who’s reading this I’m sure you can see in your system I’m a monthly customer for the last few years at least and have never made a negative review before for any location because I’ve worked in customer service my whole life, that’s why I also tipped the green haired lady as well. Completely unacceptable ecperience, if you are not confident or experienced to do a role in your job you should be honest about that instead of just trying to shuffle in as many people in the door as possible

Online Check-In can be used for all services except perms and formal updos. Please note that not all salons offer perms. Most salons require an appointment for these services, so please call your local Great Clips salon to inquire.
Can I request a stylist using Online Check-In?
No. For the stylist’s safety, we do not publish their schedules or allow customers to request them using Online Check-In. Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
