She kept working at it until she had it evened out correctly, and she knew how to deal with my surprise cowlick. Sides were lined up properly and sideburns were even. Save your time, money, and sanity, and just go anywhere else.‼️ I asked for the most basic thing known to mankind, a simple fade. I even brought a picture that could be used in a haircut tutorial for beginners. I have been showing the same photo for two years at other locations with no issues. The guy looked at it and said, “I don’t know how to do a fade.” I thought he was joking. He was not. So I said, “No problem, I’ll wait for someone else.” Apparently that was a big mistake because they decided to make me wait like I had offended the haircut gods. When I asked another stylist after she finished with a client, she just stared at me and started speaking in Chinese. Then immediately switched to perfect English with another customer. Impressive bilingual skills, just not the timing (I should have used my Duolingo app consistently). Then the manager or lead stylist finally stepped in and said she would “try her best.” For a basic fade. That is when I knew I was in the wrong universe. She would not even let me hang my coat, acted like doing her job was a personal favor. After all that, when I still tipped her because, you know, she technically did her job, she smiled and said, “Come back again frequently!” Sure thing. I will absolutely come back just to wave at all the “professionals,” but definitely not for a haircut. Still wondering how this place has over 4 stars. Maybe the ratings are for their comedy show, not their haircut skills. Don’t get fooled by the ratings and go elsewhere.

When I tried to ask her to fix it, she became visibly annoyed and told me she was “timed” and couldn’t keep making changes. I didn’t realize how bad the haircut was until I got home because she never showed me the back. It turned out to be uneven and poorly cut, with one side longer than the other. To make matters worse, when I tried to tip her in cash, I asked her to break a $20, but she just took the whole bill and didn’t give any change back. I’ll have to go somewhere else to fix this mess and not plan on coming back
