  I wanted to give an employee named Juleah S. at the Alderwood Mall location her “flowers”, for the most amazing experience I’ve ever had at a Sephora. I’m a Rouge member and have shopped at Sephora online and in-store for many years, but this particular interaction just impressed me so much, that I felt compelled to write a review for her. From the first hand-off from the front host, she was so pleasant. I told her that I wanted to get color-matched for complexion products, so I would know exactly what I wanted to purchase for the upcoming VIB sale. She was such a good listener to my skin concerns and needs, and was incredibly patient throughout the whole process. She color-matched me perfectly for concealers, skin tints, foundations, setting powders, etc., giving me top choices for at least two brands for each makeup category. She also shared her “must-buy” recommendations in other beauty categories like body, skincare, etc. I’ve gotten color-matched numerous times and the color-match would be off or the formulas wouldn’t work for my skin type. Juleah truly has a keen eye for color-matching. She knew exactly what would pull “too warm”for me and I really appreciated her knowledge on color theory. But, above all, I appreciated how kind and genuine she was. She was efficient, but I didn’t feel rushed. She truly went above and beyond, to find the right products for me and demo’d them on my skin, giving me more confidence in purchasing everything on my wishlist.   Completely ignored by staff. At least 10 staff members on the sales floor. They were split into small cliques having personal conversations. I was never acknowledged even once during the 15 mins I was in the store. Sephora is know for having better customer service than what I experienced here. I did not make a purchase and reported this experience to corporate.

  This Sephora is quite nice! The store is well spread out and the employees are nice for the most part. One issue I have had multiple times is that I am followed arround relentlessly. I get that they have to do that if someone is being suspicious, but I mean I'm being tracked the entire time.

  Sephora is a great spot for beauty lovers, offering a huge range of brands, helpful testers, and clean, well‑organized stores. The staff is usually knowledgeable and can guide you to the right products without being pushy. Prices can be high, and popular items sometimes sell out, but the overall shopping experience feels premium and reliable. A strong choice for makeup, skincare, and fragrance.
