- NNNatOct 4, 20255.0I accidentally booked my appointment at Snohomish location instead of Lynwood but the staff were super understanding and nice about it and I was lucky enough that they had time to do my blowout at the Lynnwood location. I had Olena take care of the blowout and she was very great with the shampoo/conditioning as I had done my makeup for a concert I was going to tonight and she made sure everything was untouched and only the hair was wet. She did a great job with the blowout and her skills with curling my hair with a straightener were also great and everything turned out how I hoped. I will be coming here as my main hair stylist salon and booking with her as this first time experience was really good!
- SLStella LeSep 16, 20252.0Didn’t feel like venturing out to Mill Creek to go to my usual salon, and now I’ve learned my lesson! Went to Elle Marie to get a toner and shine bomb treatment. The toner was fine, but the application was quite sloppy. Right after drying, I could see parts of my lightened hair that weren’t toned. The rough dry was just that- rough and not indicative of how my hair would typically be styled. I used to frequent Elle Marie when it was at the old location by Total Wine & had fantastic experiences there with Elizabeth, which is why I was confident in scheduling an appointment this time around. I also wanted to trim my bangs, and when the stylist made the first cut, I realized she had no clue how to cut curtain bangs. The bang pieces are choppy and were not blended in with the rest of my hair, so it looks horrible. I blended some bits in myself, but for the most part, I’ll just have to wait until it grows back out. Considering how hair salons are a luxury nowadays, this was nottt worth the money whatsoever.
