If you are going to offer a service, let people utilize it…. I went to check in online when they opened to get a quick cut, but instead got an hour wait and overstimulated and impatient “barbers”…. Ridiculous…

- SSSarah ScrichfieldMar 23, 20261.0I think it's ridiculous that the franchise owner opted out of a nationally advertised promotion and didn't post any signage, putting all of the communication onto the poor employees dealing with angry customers (including myself!) I am not going to take it out on them, but It really does suck when you're on a budget and have to wait for a coupon to come in and find out AFTER your haircut that it's going to cost twice as much as expected. You are going to lose customers AND staff over this!

It's a 10 minute drive here, I got here and somehow my wait went up to 22 minutes. OK, I'll wait, I'm only 3rd on the list. 30 minutes later, I'm 1st on the list, I check the wait time, 6 minutes... well then they took someone before me, not on the list, and said he actually did have an appointment. OK well they have another person there working, I'll wait a little longer. Well that guy brought his kid and the One surprise person in front of me became 2, and my 6 minute wait just jumped again to 9, but how are they going to do 2 haircuts in 9 minutes?? They're not... And as I'm writing this they took another person in front of me. Worst place period!!!! They deserve negative stars. I called and actually got ahold of someone. Here's their responds, verbatim, " thanks for letting us know". That was the extent of their concern. After reading some of the reviews, I do think they are discriminating against people. I'm not sure on what basis, but I watched people come in, lots of them all of them were greeted, I was not. All of them were talked to, they didn't say a word to me. Not even when I got up and walked out. They looked at me go, watched me walk away, even made eye contact, but said nothing. Like they were waiting for me to leave. I do feel like they wanted me out. I was completely unwelcome and they wanted me to know it.

Online Check-In can be used for all services except perms and formal updos. Please note that not all salons offer perms. Most salons require an appointment for these services, so please call your local Great Clips salon to inquire.
Can I request a stylist using Online Check-In?
No. For the stylist’s safety, we do not publish their schedules or allow customers to request them using Online Check-In. Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
