  I visited JCPENNY SALON for a straight cut, but instead, I ended up with short hair with layers. I strongly advise against going there. The communication between customers and hairdressers is terrible. Please read all the reviews and avoid this salon at all costs. You risk leaving with something you didn’t ask for. My hair was ruined! 😭

  I just moved here and I have been going to same stylist for many years and was very anxious in finding new one. I was seen by angel. I asked if she had experience with highlights and making sure she knew what she was doing. I was disappointed, in few things. The highlights were not even in both sides, one side was lighter than the other side, more orange and yellowish on one side because it was stopped in process too soon so it wasn't even on both sides. She asked for haircut I said just 1/4 inch even it out, that's all. Not a full haircut. But she went ahead and took two inches off from back even though I said 1/4 inches. I was in shock I worked so hard to keep my hair long and told her that I wanted it to stay LONG., and said no, not to do that and she stopped then she went futher keeping it long in front so it didn't even out with the back area where she cut it too short. I was told estimate around 100-120 for partial highlights on phone and was not sastified with how it turned out. Then she added on $50 for just trim the end, one minute doing that and didn't follow my instructions keeping it to 1/4 inches and now it's not evened out because of her mistake. She still charged me for that mistake she made with my haircut, overall she should t have charged me for haircut if she made that mistake plus it only took her few seconds and didn't even give full haircut. She smiles and seems nice at first but then at the end she argues with you making you pay for the price, even if it's her mistake. I was disappointed and won't go back to her for my hair services. Now I have to pay second time to have someone fix her mistakes somewhere else, Continuing to find the right hairstylist that listens to customers and doesn't do what they want to do.

  I found such a gem inside JCPenney, Angelique is the real deal. She’s incredibly talented, listens to what you want, and somehow makes the whole experience feel easy and fun. My daughters love her too, which honestly says everything. She’s the kind of stylist you want to keep forever. If you’re looking for someone who truly knows what they’re doing, go see Angelique

  If you come here please go to Angelique I believe is her name! I was a walk in, and she had a very great smile, was excited about taking me in for an appointment even though it was a walk in. I even had my 4 year old daughter that was able to sit in a chair near me while I got my hair done. She was so kind my daughter and offered her a water, the other staff offered snacks and treats while she waited for mommy to get a haircut. It was very kind of the staff to do. I told the stylist what I wanted and she even had a suggestion when it came to my bangs due to how my hair laid out and she was more than right! It came out so cute and pretty! If and when I come back I hope I get to work with her again.

  Very very bad experience. I forgot the name of lady but she really did bad job on my hair. I can't imagine she charged me 50 $ for such a stupid haircut. Don't go this this place ever and also their comb and other products were very dirty..
