- LMLinda MillerJun 23, 20251.0I had a very disappointing experience during my recent visit to the Sephora inside Kohl’s. When I walked in, the two managers on duty Katie and Jennifer I believe I saw the name tags were huddled behind the register in a corner, completely absorbed in their phones and laughing. They didn’t acknowledge me once. I tried to ask a question, but they looked at me and continued laughing without offering any help. I spent about 30 minutes walking around the store and was never greeted. I even considered asking for a color match but felt too uncomfortable since both managers remained in the same corner the entire time. At one point, they both left the store to shop in Kohl’s, leaving no management present in Sephora. It was shocking to see this kind of behavior from people in leadership roles. To make matters worse, I overheard them discussing inappropriate topics while still at the front of the store, which was extremely unprofessional and honestly gross. The only bright side was a kind young associate—not a manager—who eventually helped me. She was the only one who acted professionally. This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had at any Sephora. Management should be held to a much higher standard.

The two tall women behind the counter with red hair did not even care to do their job or help me out. After i checked out my item I later found out the lady was the manager of the store. HORRIFIC! how is the manager of the Sephora hiding behind the counter chatting with her employees while there were customers in the store? Will not be coming back. ALSO My friend warned me about not returning anything to this store due to the manager pressing to put her money back into store credit and not bank card. Very unprofessional she should be fired.
