  I had such an amazing experience here. I hadn’t worn makeup for a long time and I was not familiar with a lot of the brands. Ebony helped me out and she was incredible. She shade matched me and everything, and when I got home everything was perfect thanks to her! I will be returning to this store in the future. 10/10!

  I went to this Sephora with my sisters. I’m 20, my older sister is 21, and my little sisters are 13. We wanted to shop around and the one thing we wanted was to get my little sister a small version of the perfume she likes. Since we walked in, the employees immediately started watching us and speaking on their headsets, would not leave us alone. Instead of pointing us to where the perfume was she asked for the exact name of thing we wanted and said she would keep it at the register. We literally just walked in and had not done anything remotely suspicious. I don’t want to assume anything on the part of other people but I felt mistreated. When my sisters went over to pay, I stayed behind in a clear and visible aisle, very clearly ON MY PHONE!! I had two people come up and ask what I was doing and if I was okay. When we left, the person at the door said have a nice day and then immediately picked up her mic and whispered something into it while looking dead at us. Maybe one of these things alone may have not seemed like much but the combination is leading me to believe my siblings and I were being profiled for absolutely no good reason since the moment we walked in. This was around 8 pm in the Potomac mills store.

  I needed a new foundation match and the employees were soo helpful in making my trip easy and enjoyable. I started with a person named Ebony, I believe, and they asked questions about the finish and coverage I wanted and got me a great Patrick ta shade. We then checked out the new blushes from the Sephora brand and I got the palette called “heart breaker “ (coral/red one) along with two brushes and a lip combo. The experience was great from start to finish. Even at checkout, the person cashiering, myself and a customer behind me all had a “girl-talk” moment, and it was really a great vibe. Thank you to the team at Potomac mills. I will be back.

  I’ve tried to shop at this store a few times but get no help from the associates. They only have one cashier working and trying to sell other products on the cashier counter. This causes the lines to get long and too much time trying to purchase so I put the items I wanted back and walk out. The other associates just walk around fast like they are working or either standing around talking to each other.

  Cecelia and Marz were a stellar example of personalized service. Cecelia helped my daughter find the right products to address her cosmetic concerns. Gave recommendations that my daughter did not even think about! Great service all around! Thank you for taking care of my daughter!
