  I took my 12yo daughter to JCPenny for a hair cut. She wanted 2 inches cut off, layers, and curtain bangs. Her hair was halfway down her back and beautiful. The oriental woman that cut her hair washed it, brushed it, combed it straight, then turned her scissors straight up and down and cut around her head. When I questioned her, she said “this is how you do layers.” She never sectioned her hair, just cut around the bottom. For the curtain bangs, she took a thin piece of hair from each side of her face and cut them lopsided. My daughter asked that she blow dry and curl her hair with her bangs curled back. She blowdried her hair then curled her bangs on one side towards her face and the other side away from her face. When I pointed this out she said “oh let me fix it! I curl it the other way.” She curled it even tighter towards her face and when I pointed it out a second time she took the hairspray and tried to spray it in place. She put so much hairspray in one spot that it was dripping from her hair. When my daughter pointed out that one side of her hair was longer than the other she responded with “here, let me cut more off for you” and proceeded to turn her scissors straight up and down then cut a piece off the side that was already shorter than the other. I immediately told her to stop and not to cut anymore of her hair. She would not listen and kept trying to get more hair combed out. I told her to stop and get me a manager. The entire time I was trying to talk to the manager this woman was talking overtop of me telling me that I don’t know what I’m talking about and that she did layers the way they are supposed to be done.” She also kept trying to grab ahold of my daughters hair and tell me I didn’t know what I was talking about. My daughter is already self-conscious as it is and this made it even worse. Needless to say, my daughter left in tears with a haircut so uneven we had to go somewhere else and have 3 inches cut off to have it fixed. I am not typically one to leave a review, but in this case, if I could leave zero stars I absolutely would. This woman was rude, unprofessional, and has no business cutting hair.

  Snow is a great stylist, I had a great experience here and highly recommend the salon. I would say just make sure that you bring a picture of the style or coloring you want.

  I normally come here every once in awhile for a trim but won’t be coming anymore. I walked in and there was an elder asian women that works there that was talking very loud and clearly saw me sitting in the waiting room and didn’t acknowledge me until i asked if i can get a haircut and she was very rude and wouldn’t answer my question so as i walked out her and a hefty women on a wheelchair just laughed. I wasn’t disrespectful at all. Wouldn’t recommend.
