The stylist from West Virginia didn't want to cut my straightened hair because I am brown. She claimed she was uncomfortable with my texture. I flat ironed my hair before coming for a haircut. I was seeking long layers like a country singer!!!! She needs additional training for hair and diversity training!!!!! Foreign European Colonist hair is straight most of the time. My experience as former Director of Education for Ward Corner Beauty School provided me with the insight that this is unacceptable in a customer driven industry!!!!! Today I was highly disappointed and frustrated with the time I wasted. Rejection is a blessing, at least she didn't mess up my haircut on purpose!!!

One of the barbers, not sure of a name but it was a tall gentleman with dark hair, was acting extremely weird. He was jumping circles around a chair, making weird noises and twitching bad. I'm pretty sure he's been working at previous times I have came and I have never seen anyone act that way. I'm not sure if he was on something or has some kind of disorder, but the experience just felt extremely off and uncomfortable. Luckily he didn't cut my hair, but it does not feel right for someone acting like that to be using scissors or other sharp equipment. Safe to say I will be going somewhere else, along with my husband as well.

If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
