My stylist didn't fully listening to what I was asking for, and there wasn't much feedback or collaboration to make sure we were on the same page before starting the cut. As the appointment went on, she continued taking more length off than I had requested, and my hair ended up about 4-5 inches shorter than I wanted. I had specifically asked for it to be slightly shorter in the back, but when I mentioned that it looked too short, I was told that this was what I had asked for, which was frustrating because it didn't match what I had communicated. There was a point where I genuinely felt close to tears because of how uncomfortable I was with the situation. Overall, the haircut itself looks nice, but it's not the length I wanted, and the experience didn't feel collaborative or supportive.
