Everyone in that salon or the neaby salon, could cut mens hair well. Four years of hair cuts. I learned within six months in this area with Great Clips, they struggle with simple things like "please take 1/4 off". They always take 3/4 to one inch. I've learned to just accept it, but the stylists (I use that term loosely) know I have brought this up in the past. My hair is always uneven, which grows out in a few weeks and then corrected, but this last haircut, Im done with Great Clips. A gentlemen, nice as can be, cut my hair this week. I could see in the mirror, it was UN-EVEN as heck. I didnt say a word due to, he took about an inch off, to my request of "1/4 off". All of my hair is uneven, ALL OVER. I grabbed a pair of sciccors when I got home and fixed it the best I could, but seriously? What really changed my mind about Great Clips was how he didn't even brush or use a hair dryer to blow off cur hair from neck/shirt etc. I've tried over 4 Great Clips in this area. I do not reccomend Great Clips.
- MMMelissa McHughNov 1, 20253.0I went for a simple bang trim. I was clear on what I wanted and that I didn't want to lose the shape of my bangs, which had been cut to frame my face. The stylist seemed very pleased with himself as he bragged about growing up in the industry and then mansplained geometry to me, saying that the strange way he twisted my bangs would do that. It did not in fact do that, and I knew it wouldn't but I knew my new stylist vould fix it when I had my first appointment. At no point did he consider the actual cut I had or even ask me any questions about the cut or shape. I would have done a better job myself with kitchen scissors. Fortunately, bangs grow fast. In a pinch this store has always been great for a quick trim but not this time. I came in with low expectations and still left disappointed. As did the other customer who had to come back to have the same stylist even out the uneven style he gave him.

Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
