Her chair always feels like a safe place to ask questions, provide feedback, and receive needles to the face. Her attention to detail is unmatched and she truly cares about achieving exactly the results I want. The vibes of everyone I’ve encountered in the office are friendly and create a comfortable environment.

The cystic acne left hard nodules of keratin and collagen due to poor healing and my inability to access dermatological care at the time. The walls of these nodules eventually broke and caused a prolonged and painful inflammatory immune response. Before discovering Dr. Shaw, I’d seen 8 dermatologists and two other surgeons. I’d tried antibiotics, ointments, and steroid injections - nothing helped. Dr. Shaw was the only doctor I met with who agreed that surgical excision was an option. I’m extremely satisfied with the results, and deeply grateful for Dr. Shaw’s talent, kindness, and support through the healing process.
