  I went here for the first time for a much needed haircut. My stylist was Antoinette, who was very friendly and made me feel comfortable right away. Most importantly, after talking about what I wanted, she gave me an amazing haircut, better than I had hoped for. Highly recommend!

  My stylist Londyn was very nice and she made my first time here comfortable. The hair washing was great, the style was great, and I like her personality. I will definitely be coming back to her because she made me look and feel good about my hair!

  If I could give negative stars, I would! My experience was absolutely horrible. I set up my appointment online for a clipper cut ($20.00). When I got there, the young lady had me sit in her chair and asked me what I wanted done. I told her I wanted a cut and showed her what I wanted. I specifically asked her if she could handle what I was asking her to do. She said to me that she could do the hair style I showed her and that she was new to the JCPenny Salon but definitely not new to hair. She then told me that my hair was dry and that I would need a conditioner. I asked her how much it would be and she told me it would be $20 extra. I agreed to it. She washes and conditions my hair sits me under the dryer, rinses the conditioner out and blow dries my hair. She then proceeds to cut my hair. Midway through the cut, she asks a young man to come over to take over cutting my hair because she never cut hair as short as I was asking her to cut it. Why didn’t she tell me that when I asked? He said he didn’t know how to either. She said, they didn’t teach us this in beauty school. So another experienced stylist happened to be in the salon and literally gave them a cutting class on my hair. I am literally a human mannequin! She then gives the scissors back to the young lady and tells her exactly what to do and the young lady still managed to mess it up. I get to the counter to pay and they charge me $60.00. Where did the other $20.00 come from? It wasn’t even styled. I walked out confused and traumatized. I will never go back there again!
