  The haircut experience was truly disappointing. I took my sons to get haircuts, hoping for clean, sharp styles just in time for upcoming picture day. Unfortunately, the first cut was so poorly done that I decided not to let the stylist continue with the others. It was clear that she didn’t have experience working with ethnic hair, and the result showed—uneven lines, harsh edges, and no attention to texture. My teenager, who had been looking forward to showing off a fresh look for his school pictures, was especially disappointed. What was meant to be a simple trip for confidence-boosting haircuts ended up leaving us both frustrated and regretful.

  Booked a $225 color appointment with Naomi. Showed her multiple reference pictures. She bleached my hair, and I told her I wanted more bleach as it's not enough. She did not listen to me and said "girl no I'm doing highlights because I think it would look good". I told her numerous times that I want it to be the picture. She said that it'll look like that. After dyeing my hair, I told Naomi that my hair was too dark. She then said, "the lighting in here is not good. it will look lighter outside in the natural light". she lied. I was here for 5 hours. I got many professional opinions and they've said they could do what I wanted in less than 3 hours. I asked Naomi if it was normal for me to be there the entire day. She preceded to comment saying "you've never done this before so you don't know the process". Asked for the second picture, received the first.

  I must admit that I was somewhat apprehensive about this appointment, as I have curly hair and have often been disappointed by stylists in the past. However, I am delighted to report that Kadaea executed the cut flawlessly, perfectly capturing the inspiration I provided and even incorporating a detail I had neglected to mention. The result is truly beautiful, and the salon's atmosphere was incredibly welcoming. Furthermore, the other stylists were delightful and provided much amusement.

  Most of my haircuts here were pretty good, and the people are friendly. However, a recent haircut involved a few patches on the back of my head that were buzzed close and visibly uneven with the rest, which I did not see until after I left. Going back in to correct the issue or get a refund was unproductive, and I was told that I was thinning and going bald in those patches. (In the last few weeks, they have since regrown.) I filed a complaint through the company and received a voicemail assuring me that I would get a refund, which I never received. I would not be writing this review if anyone had taken accountability and been honest about what happened with my haircut or even the promised refund. This place is not worth the risk.
