- KAKen AducciOct 9, 20251.0Usually I go to Tina and she does a great job. I guess she was off today, but I needed a haircut so I went in. Checked in online and it said there was 0 minute wait. Got there and waited about 10 minutes, I was first online. They finished a guys hair and then called a woman, who was after me on the check-in list. Turns out the guy they finished was her husband, and I would have been totally cool with them taking her in front of me, but at least let me know my wait will be even longer, or ask if I’m OK with letting her cut in front of me. After another 10 minutes one of the girls finishes up with a customer and then she goes in the back and disappears after ringing him up. I’m still sitting there waiting, at this point more than a little frustrated, and a lady finally finishes cutting a young man. As he’s checking out I notice the back of his hair is really uneven and missing a swath of hair. No way I want that person cutting my hair, so after more than 20 minutes into my 0 minute wait, I leave. Including my drive both ways it was a total waste of an hour out of my day.

No. For the stylist’s safety, we do not publish their schedules or allow customers to request them using Online Check-In. Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
