Save your money and time. Do not go here.
From the moment I walked into Hair Cuttery, I did not feel welcomed and honestly was not comfortable. Marcy was rude and passive aggressive the entire time. When I tried to explain what I wanted, she dismissed my concerns and made me feel stupid.
She started doing the blowout using a Revlon blowout brush that was full of hair and looked like a cheap $40 tool. As soon as she started using it, I stopped her and said that is not what I came in for and that I wanted a normal blowout with a traditional blow dryer. She told me no everyone likes this and I always use this, completely ignoring what I was asking for. She continued using the Revlon anyway.
My hair came out frizzy with no bounce or curl, and it felt dry and brittle. I asked again if she could go over it with a normal standard blow dryer instead of the Revlon brush because my hair was so frizzy and dry and had no shine or bounce. She told me the blow dryer was not working, but when I asked again at the end it suddenly started working. It only started working after I brought it up multiple times , not from the beginning when I first asked.
When I tried to explain I just wanted a normal blowout, she told me to stop trying to fight and to “enjoy the beautiful day” even though I was not arguing at all! The whole experience felt dismissive and uncomfortable, and I left with dry frizzy hair. If you want to feel uncomfortable, ignored, and leave with frizzy hair, this is the place to go.

The cut was fine however please be aware that you will end up paying significantly more than any listed prices. Long hair is an added cost (~$15 extra) and they don’t tell you the price when they do the “consultation” so I would be scared what long and thick hair costs. Also listen closely and don’t agree to the blow dry unless you are certain it’s a blow dry and not a blowout because they were not transparent with what was done. The blowout was not what a blowout typically looks like either, so I left with an average cut and paid double the amount I should have. Won’t be coming back.
