- BDBetty Doyle3 days ago5.0Deena greeted me with a smile, promptly washed my "short," long-overdue, and silvery hair, and began. I had brought a 30-yr old studio photo, it was the cut i liked. Referring to my photo several times. I received the cut I wanted. Deena listens and translates with her scissors into what you requested and need.. There was a tiny issue at the register as I had not only cash but also a coupon for 50% off. She pushed the credit card reader to me and had already rung the sale. As I gathered my cash and said, "I have a coupon." "For how much discount?" I told Deena the discount and could immediately see the dissapointment in her face. She said, "that comes out of my pay." Instantly I felt bad. That didn't seem fair. The company doesn't pay (the discount), they make the workers receive a lower pay as an incentive to retriev an old customer to return. Deena was trying to reconcile the accounting. A call was made to the company, no help to reconcile. It took several minutes, no problem, my time was free. The stylists all put their heads together, perhaps another call was made, I couldn't see. I sat alongside my husband and patiently waited. Problem resolved. I requested to get 1 inch of my hair but I basically got it chopped off super short and I was all together sad just wanted to leave before crying. The other lady that cut my daughters hair did an awful job once it completely dried off the layers were not blended in and the back was not correct. I wanted to give this place a try but I am never going back again. That’s what I get for going of internet reviews. The lady that cut my hair was nice but it an awful job.
