It’s crazy because I should have read the reviews before coming. There are a lot of horrible reviews on the hair stylist, Jamie. It seems like she is terrible with styling wavy hair. I went to go in to layer my hair. She washed it and started cutting my hair. It was too short. I lost most of curls, I almost cried. I asked her what we can use to make my hair more wavier/curlier. She just found something in the back and it just made my hair look sloppy. I was super upset and it was a big deal because my birthday is coming up. I don’t usually write reviews but I hope to save someone from at least dealing with Jamie. Thank you.

Perfect job. Exactly what I asked for. Lieu is a true pro! The woman who cut my hair for 20 years retired and I tried a few spots around town but I’ve already booked my next appointment with her.

Jamie was awesome, very chill and supportive. She made sure she knew exactly what I wanted before starting, and checked in with me every step throughout the haircutting process!! Love!

Horrible experience!!!!! Avoid getting a cut from the lady with RED DREADS!!!!!!! I am NO stylist, but even I can DO a BETTER job. (result cut bellow) This was our second visit here and I was expecting for my son to leave with a nice haircut like we did after our first time. Our stylist was different this time and the result was horrible. I explained to the stylist what we wanted, showed some reference pictures and was ready wait for the result when an endless stream of questions was showered upon me through out the whole session: "Do you want me to use a 2 inch buzz or 4?.. do you like the back to be square? Do you want the sides to start here? would you like a wash? How far should the back go?" First, why am getting all these technical questions? I don't know all that --I'm NOT a hair stylist. The description of the service HAS a wash in it. So during the first 10 minutes I was still trying to work with this situation hoping my answers would help achieve a decent cut for my child, but as I watched hair getting chopped off in all sorts of directions making my kids hairline more uneven by the minute, hope kept disappearing. After my request to blend the buzzed part with the rest of hair I was told "once it dries it will blend" hope was gone. When the lady was "done" doing (destroying) my son's hair there was no offer to dry it. I guess it's okay to send people home with wet hair when it's 45 degrees outside. Such a disappointing and infuriating experience. I booked an haircut to not have to do it myself at home, and yet I had to redo my kids hair at home anyways after just spending money at a salon. I am no stylist, but even I have done a better job at cutting my boy's hair in the past. Idk if this lady is actually even a stylist. Maybe she's just the receptionist and I just booked a time when all other staff was busy, who knows? But then, why not call and reschedule rather than disappoint a returning customer? Thank goodness my boy's hair will grow back.

Horrible experience and highly frustrating. Make sure to check your stylists credentials prior to service. My boyfriend went to get his hair cut shorter and get a slightly different style. We made an appointment with Rashida who has many great reviews and who is experienced in wavy hair. Only AFTER the service was he informed that his hair was cut by some Jamie. She hasn't introduced herself in the beginning, nor was he even told that the stylist we made an appointment with wasn't even there. On top of that, she CUT HER FINGER within a minute of starting the process, which honestly should've been a massive red flag from the start. She just started chopping without any regard, with my boyfriend pointing out multiple times where a patch was longer and needed another cut. After coming home, washing hair, and inspecting the results, we found multiple patches of different lengths on two sides. The asymmetry was mind-blowing and had to be fixed AT HOME. And no we didn't go back to get it fixed so that they don't mess it up even more. See pictures of Jamie's proud work. Never again. This review is put very nicely compared to the results he walked away with.
