Ms. Mary did my hair and did an AMAZING AMZING JOB!
I live on the outer banks and for the past 2 years I’ve been asking for hi lights to no avail, I keep getting glossed hair for some reason and honestly, the reason feels like they don’t want to spend the time doing highlights, which is a shame because I’m willing to pay for them and tip well for my hair. But that’s OK. I found my new lady and I will travel to Virginia to have her do my hair. Thank you again, Mary! After I style my hair, I will post a picture, but I am very very happy with the results!

My barber was MIA today and I stopped by your place of business for the very fort time to get a line in my Afro. Based on what I saw and how quickly she finished, I sense that the young lady isn’t trained in natural hair at all.i retouched the line on my own when I got home. Sorry, wont be coming back.

I could’ve washed and blow dried my hair myself and saved $100. Very tacky, I’m embarrassed to say I went to the salon to get my hair done. Because it was anything but done. I went in looking fabulous and came out looking homeless, hair looking very dry and brittle. And no bounce, I walked in with bounce and sheen!!!! Ugghh, lesson learned!

I booked online, picked 1st available stylist at 12:30. When I got there the stylist at the counter was checking someone in. Another stylist came to the counter, the one checking the customer in took her to the back. The 2nd stylist checked me in, said she would be right back & asked the 1st stylist a question. While this is happening a woman came in as a walk in. The 2nd stylist then asked the 1st if she wanted her to take the 12:30 appt. (me) and she got very snippy with her, said no she didn't want her to take her, she would be right with me. So I asked if it would be much past 12:30, I had to pick someone up at a certain time. So 2nd stylist went & asked & again she was short with her. told her is was on 12:22. She was asking questions for me, no reason for her to get like that. You could feel the tension towards stylist #2 from her. But stylist #1 takes a walk-in at 12:15, and then is still supposed to do mine at 12:30 or I guess whenever she could get to me. Why do 2 at a time when the other stylist was available? I left, didn't like the whole situation & honestly felt bad for #2 who was just trying to help things run smoothly.
