- GGGang GangFeb 8, 20262.0Normally I have a good experience here. My expectations aren't unrealistic. Today, however, was different. Maybe it's because haircuts were $9.99 this weekend, and maybe tips have been disappointing, but my hairstylist was in a sour mood and she let me know it. I told her what I wanted. Communication setting expectations is important. Not for this woman though. She let me know my directions were pointless. I told her a brush my hair to the left, and that apparently stupid, irrelevant detail skipped her mind. She also asked how much I wanted off the top: iust a quarter inch. Apparently she's not familiar with the imperial units of measurement, because she cut off an entire inch if not more. That's fine. We all have bad days and off days. The kicker though, and what compelled me to write this, is she bumped my face pretty hard her meaty fist. It knocked my head back a bit. And I know she noticed it, because she mumbled something when she did it. An apology? I guess a grunt is all I was gonna get from her, let alone acknowledgement it even happened. She also wrestled with my head. I know hairstylists nudge you a bit so they can get a better angle or view. But this lady did not know how to use her words. She'd rather try to twist my head in some direction and I was guessing where she needed me to go. This isn't military school, you don't have to treat my head as an object. Very unfortunate I felt I had to write this bad review because genuinely this place isn't bad at all most the time. Just don't come around 2 or 3pm because this lady might be there letting everyone know how miserable she is. For the record. She's the one with glasses.

No. For the stylist’s safety, we do not publish their schedules or allow customers to request them using Online Check-In. Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
