  I have been searching for a salon since moving to Virginia and haven’t had good luck. I found Ritual’s Salon on Google & after reading the amazing reviews I called and booked an appointment with Errin for a haircut. She did a beautiful job and really listened to what I wanted. I am thrilled to have found this salon, it is also a full spa with so many services. This is now my new salon and I highly recommend!

  I was pleasantly surprised by my experience at Rituals Salon when I first visited for a bang trim. I decided to go back for a haircut and Eryn took excellent care of me, making sure I felt welcomed and comfortable. The added touch of enjoying a glass of champagne during the service made my haircut experience truly delightful!

  I’m glad I found Rituals Salon. Dana listened intently to my thoughts and used her expertise to give me the best cut and highlights that I have had in a very long time. She was very friendly and personable as well as professional. The rest of the staff whom I encountered were the same. The whole experience at Rituals from entrance to exit was exceptional.

  Jillian is amazing. She listened to my wants and needs and exexuted them perfectly (highlights and low lights). She's super knowledgeable about all things hair care and suggested products (at my request) that have made my hair look and feel brand new. My hair hasn't looked or felt this healthy since I was a kid. I'm so relieved to have FINALLY found someone I can completely trust and who is super sweet and personable and who has a real passion for what she does. I give her the highest of recommendations!

  I hadn’t been to rituals in years, but wanted to go somewhere where I knew I could get my hair done and it look fabulous. I usually don’t go to rituals because of the price and the satisfaction with my hair after. But I tried again. I even took a 4:45 pm appointment before leaving for a vacation the very next day. I liked Dana, who did my hair. She was sweet. However, she seemed overworked and thought I wanted a partial highlight. When I mentioned that I wanted a full highlight, it seemed to inconvenience her. I get that a full highlight takes a long time, but then why would the receptionist schedule me for that at 4:45 when rituals closes at 8. Bottomline, the whole thing felt RUSHED. Dana barely spoke to me the entire time, which isn’t bothersome but I can’t think of a time when I’ve ever had my hair done, when the hairstylist didn’t talk to me for most of the experience. I told her I wanted my hair blonder, lots of blonde highlights. She told me that she had to do something to my hair to get the brassiness out, but when I got home and really looked at my hair, it is actually darker then it was before I went in. It looks nice and healthy, but for $300 plus I gave her $100 tip because that’s how I tip, and I leave with my hair not looking like i was hoping for, it’s just a bummer. So I am writing this review not to get anyone in trouble but more so for the scheduling department to not schedule a full highlight at the end of a stylist’s double shift day. I had two ladies blow drying my hair at 7:55 to get me out the door. This is not how I remember Rituals being. Very disappointing. Definitely will not be returning.
