- SMShawn MayMar 4, 20261.0I scheduled my haircut. I arrived about ten minutes early. For some reason, the one hairdresser wouldn't cut my hair. They told me I had to wait for the other lady. After thirty five minutes of watching this other hairdresser just play on her phone. Noticing it did not look like the other one was finishing anytime soon I just left.

- CSCharlotte SmithDec 27, 20251.0Lesson learned- don't anger the person with the scissors. Came in with hair to my shoulder blades, asked for a trim and long layers to help thin the volume. She was rude before I ever sat down then argued that layers wouldn't achieve what I was asking (though another stylist stepped in and explained what I was asking for) but she told me I'd get what I asked for. When she spun me around for a quick glance at the back i didn't realize half my hair was tucked in to the cape. Upon looking in the mirror at home, I found a big section that was untouched/untrimmed. Ended up having to go elsewhere and pay a lot more to have the uneven layers fixed and ended up with short hair that sits just above my shoulders. So much for that trim I asked for. If you miss your stylist off from the start, run. Better yet, run from the Chattanooga location. Run from Lisa. She was rude and argumentative, start to finish.

Online Check-In can be used for all services except perms and formal updos. Please note that not all salons offer perms. Most salons require an appointment for these services, so please call your local Great Clips salon to inquire.
Can I request a stylist using Online Check-In?
No. For the stylist’s safety, we do not publish their schedules or allow customers to request them using Online Check-In. Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
