I went for my appointment only to find out that my stylist was no longer employed there. The reception is got was not welcoming as it has been in the past several months that I have been going. No services were offered to help me. No effort to stop me and offer to be of some help to me.This was a very disappointing experience and not a good look for a place of business who is customer service based. A one star rating is a bit much but no stars aren't an option.

I walked in for a cut and color, I was booked with Malikah and she did an astounding job. I was floored by how quick and pretty my hair came out! I have never been happier leaving the salon chair - and at an amazing price point too! I will definitely be telling all my friends to book with her.

I will never go there again! They had ruined my hair. I went in for a hair cut Addison started then another person cut some then another one tried to fix it. It is so uneven and short there is nothing I can do to improve it. I have to wait for it to grow back some. Terrible! They knew they screwed up. I did not have to pay. My choice would be pay and be satisfied. Did not happen.

Malikah ruined my hair. I went in with long hair, long bangs swept to the side and dead ends. I asked for highlights and a cut to remove the dead ends and create fringe to frame my face. I did not ask for any layers at all. She asked if I parted my hair on the right or left and I said I switched. I told her I did not blow dry my hair and that because I am going on vacation I wanted to be able to get up in the morning, brush my hair and go without having to mess with a curling iron and with the dead ends it just didn't look healthy enough to do that. Due to highlights, I expected appointment to be about 4 hours. It was more than 5.
At one point, I commented that it seemed she was cutting my hair very short and she assured me I was keeping my length. At No time during the appointment did she have me facing the mirror so I could see what she was doing. Instead she positioned herself so she could see and commented on what all the other stylists were doing the entire time. I did not think my hair looked great when I left, but I thought maybe I just wasn't seeing it good in the salon. When I got home I could not believe how uneven and hacked my hair looked. It is chopped unevenly all over. She took at least 5 inches in length in the front and gave me bangs that took 2 years to grow out that I did not ask for. My hair looks like a three-year-old cut it in their sleep. She also did not tell me about the extra $100 for gloss and a 2nd color. This morning I got up and did the wash and go and the photos below are the result. I went back today and Annaleise did her best to correct the disaster. She refunded the extra charges, but I can't get back the $100 tip I left. My hair grows extremely slowly, so it will be at least four years before it all grows out to even shoulder length. My hair is ruined, I am embarrassed, my heart is broken, and my dream vacation is now going to have no photos with me in them. Master Stylist? Not by a mile.
Update - prior to the hair hacking, I could fix my hair in under 10 minutes. 3 big chunks of hair, each side with the curling iron. Now it takes 45 minutes because each side and the back take about a dozen pass throughs each with the curling iron to get a curl on all my hair. Not only that, it is exposing my hair to much more heat. Just ridiculous.

Don’t go here for color. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had and my hair looks terrible. I booked a balayage for 11am yesterday. Upon arrival, I was told that the hair stylist wasn’t certified to do a balayage. I was told Hahn would do it but I had to wait another 30 minutes for service to begin. I was also told that the price was different than it was online. I was told it was $270, not $170. I said I was not comfortable with this price and Hahn said she would take $30 off. I agreed. I wanted a brighter blonde and more blending along my roots. Hahn said this was possible. After she put the color in, I asked about the strips around the front of my face, as they were not evenly colored. Hahn said it was fine, it was meant to look natural. While toning my hair, she pushed different products for me to buy and I declined. She continued to tell me I “had to have” these products for my hair or my hair would break off and fall out. I continued stating I didn’t want them. After cutting my hair and beginning to blow dry, she continued telling me I had to buy products. At this point, I can see my hair looks terrible. I believe that she noticed my hair was uneven in color because she then told me that I needed to part my hair to the side for it to look better. I stated that I parked my hair in the middle, where I originally told her at the beginning of my appointment. She continued to flip my hair to the side and tell me that I looked younger with a side part, and that my hair looked better with a side part. I was so upset, but I couldn’t say anything because Hahn kept telling other stylists “don’t it look so good”, “look how good it is”, “ I did good job”. Instead of feeling like I could speak up and again question the technique, I felt pressured by the audience and the constant “you have to trust me” comments. I gathered my things and tried to move along quickly so I didn’t cry in the store. When she asked if I liked it, I did feel pressured to agree. My previous comments and questions regarding the technique had already been dismissed at this point. I did remain nice and did not have any type of attitude. At checkout, Hahn delayed the process by telling me I had to make another appointment. I said I didn’t want another appointment and she insisted and said that I had to have my haircut at Thanksgiving or it would look bad. I declined any further appointments. She continued to push me and delay the check out process. She said that she personally needed to maintain my haircut and color for everything to look good. These high-pressure tactics and the terrible job have left me so distraught. She finally let me check out and I cried in my car. My hair looks terrible and I am going to have to go somewhere else to get it fixed. I can never go back into that hair Cuttery because of the pressure and tactics and bad job. Their “master stylists” may be decent and cutting hair, but don’t trust your color to these people. Worst mistake and a very expensive lesson learned. I’ve reached out to corporate regarding this incident.
