- SSShayma SulaimanJun 4, 20241.0I am a new Aveda customer and have only frequented the Pentagon location. I have been so impressed by the customer service at Pentagon that I assumed all Aveda locations practiced the same top notch customer service but boy, was I wrong. I stopped by the Tysons location this past weekend ( for the very first time) to return two products that unfortunately, did not work for my hair. I spoke with THE STORE MANAGER, LISA and told her my concerns and asked if I could please return the items. Rather than help me find an alternative solution, she spoke and questioned me harshly. Asking things like “What was I expecting these products would do for me?” and stating “The Nutriplenish leave in is not for your hair type.” Lisa then proceeded to tell me that she could not honor the return because I did not bring back the “free gift” so she put the receipt back into my bag and pushed my bag back towards me. Overall, Lisa’s communication and body language was completely unprofessional, abrasive, and inappropriate. I am still in shock by this encounter and very surprised that Aveda has someone like her representing their company - let alone hold a leadership position.
