However, several employees were standing around talking, and when I asked about getting a haircut, I was told they stop taking customers 15 minutes before closing. They were all cleaned up and packed up for the night. From my understanding, that’s not in line with Great Clips’ corporate policy. A quick haircut could have easily been completed before closing time, and I would think the owners would want to be aware that customers are being turned away while the store is still supposed to be open.

Teresa just cut my teenage son's hair and it was such a hack job, as he walked toward the checkout, I froze in horror, trying to cover my reaction out of politeness. I was sitting about 30 feet away and saw her hacking at his hair with thinning shears with seemingly no rhyme or reason, but I was trying to trust the process. When he was finished, the length of the front of his hair was cut to his hair line in one place and to his eyebrow in another, and it was not blended between the two spots. It was just arbitrarily cut at random lengths, there was zero blending. It looks like she just took scissors and cut his hair one-handed honestly because it has absolutely no blending. It is **awful** and I feel so bad for my son. She saw my reaction and tried to explain it away that he said he didnt want much taken from the sides by his ears, but its clipped in some spots near his ears, and not in others. He asked for it to be faded and its all one length. Please *please* spare yourself and do not hire her. She needs to take corrective training or change careers. She should not feel okay doing this to people. I want to cry because I dont know if I can fix it.
