I recently moved to the area from California, and I decided to visit Great Clips for a haircut, as I've had good experiences at other locations in the past. I usually prefer a dry cut, so I made that request right away. Unfortunately, my experience this time was quite different. The stylist started off by asking me why I wanted a dry cut, and I explained it was simply my preference. She mentioned that cutting wet hair is easier, but I reiterated my request. After a moment of hesitation and a less-than-enthusiastic expression, she began the cut. I had a bit of gel in my hair, and she seemed frustrated, asking what was in it. When I told her, she commented that it was affecting her comb. Throughout the appointment, her demeanor remained sour, which was surprising given my past experiences. Overall, this was not the welcoming and enjoyable experience I was hoping for. I recently visited Sports Clips, where the staff was much more accommodating and friendly. Unfortunately, I won't be returning to this Great Clips based on my experience.
