I booked a simple wash, cut, and blow-dry, but when I arrived I was told I’d be charged a much higher price solely because of my hair—even though it’s more wavy than curly. The stylist even had me point to my “type” in a curl pattern booklet, something I’ve never been asked to do at any salon. I wasn’t asking for anything difficult—just a normal blow-dry that takes me about ten minutes at home. The entire experience left me feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. I wouldn’t recommend this salon for anyone with wavy or textured hair.

She was instantly my type of person though and I enjoyed the service, her chatter, and that my hair was cut as I requested. She asked good questions to figure out how I wanted it, and the hair wash was so relaxing. I dont typically stick to a specific stylist, but I will be requesting her for my next cut!
