- RJRachael JentFeb 19, 20265.0i got a really botched shag haircut at a different salon, the layers were too thick, didn’t flow well, and many aspects felt random and too short. for a correction i went to the plank road location at Hair Cuttery, and Jenna (senior designer i) completely turned the experience around. she explained what had gone wrong, how the layers weren’t blended and why the bulk was making everything fall awkwardly, and then walked me through how she was going to correct it. you can tell she’s very experienced because she worked carefully and intentionally, blending everything so it flowed naturally without taking off too much more length. what stood out the most was how kind and reassuring she was. she understood that a bad haircut can really affect your confidence, and she made sure i felt comfortable the whole time. she checked in often, adjusted small details, and made sure the shape looked balanced from every angle. by the end, everything was evened out and styled in a way that actually fit my face and texture. i honestly left feeling so much better and confident again. it was my fault for “cheating” on her in the first place. jenna is incredibly talented, professional, and genuinely cares about her clients. she really went above and beyond to fix a stressful situation. i’m very grateful! thanks again!
