I was very disappointed with my visit today. During the salon’s first week in September, I received a $7.99 coupon for future use, valid until 12/31/2025. When I tried to use it today, the staff refused to honor it without any explanation or alternative, saying it doesn’t work. This was unprofessional and dismissive, especially toward early supporters. Given the location and image they aim to project, I hope they improve both communication and customer service.

Tried this new great clips yesterday, glad I did! It was clean, efficient and nice. Ended up getting a haircut from David, he did a great job.
Been looking for a barber that does a complete detailed job, finally found one after several years in area.
Highly recommend him!

I have been getting a buzz cut with the high skin fade for the last five years, so I know exactly how my haircut should look and what tools are needed, especially a foil clipper for a clean skin finish.
When this Great Clips location first opened, I decided to give it a try because of their promotion. My first few visits were great. There’s a younger guy and a girl name Tini gave me exactly what I wanted and used the foil clipper without even me asking (I mean how else you get a skin fade). They both understood the style perfectly and were professional and friendly.
One day, on my way to pick up my son from school, I had about an hour and a half, so I decided to stop by for a quick haircut. A stylist I had never been to before started cutting my hair. Everything seemed fine at first, but halfway through, when it was time to do the lower part of the fade, he refused to use the foil clipper, insisting it was a “razor” and razor is not allowed. I explained that I have had the same haircut done here many times and other stylists always used the foil clipper, but he argued instead of listening. He even suggested that I leave mid haircut to pick up my son and come back later, which was very unprofessional.
I called the store owner, who was very kind and understanding. He asked me to return the next day to have my haircut fixed by Dimitric, who did an excellent job. He was professional, friendly, and knew exactly how to give me the haircut I wanted. That positive experience made me want to give the shop another chance.
Unfortunately, when I returned a few weeks later, the same stylist interfered again, even though Tini was cutting my hair. Tini knows my haircut very well and started right away without needing to ask me any questions. Everything was going smoothly until she reached for the foil clipper to clean up the skin fade. That is when the same stylist suddenly interrupted and told her to stop using it.
Both Tini and I were shocked. She turned around and asked him why she should stop, and he said that the manager does not allow the use of razor. I immediately explained that she has always used foil clipper for my haircut, it’s not a razor and it has never been an issue. Tini agreed and told him that a foil clipper is not a razor and that she has been using it regularly. Despite both of us explaining this, he continued to argue in front of customer.
The situation became very uncomfortable. I was sitting in the chair, my haircut halfway done, while the two of us were trying to reason with him. He would not back off, and the argument made both of us feel awkward. It was also embarrassing because my son was with me, and the whole situation played out in front of other customer.
I later tried to reach out to the owner again by phone and text but never got a response. I am not the type of person who writes negative reviews, but this experience left me very disappointed. No customer should ever feel uncomfortable or embarrassed while getting a haircut, especially when the stylist doing the job is capable and professional.
Tini, Dimitric and the younger male stylist (who works part time) are excellent at what they do and deserve recognition for their professionalism and skill. However, one stylist’s attitude, constant interference, and lack of professionalism completely ruined the experience for me. Sadly, after this incident, I will not be returning to this location.
