    Laura was recommended to me after I had a tragic haircut elsewhere. She was fantastic! She took time at the beginning of our appointment to go over how I wanted my hair to look and feel, how I typically maintain and care for it, and what I typically do to style it. It’s been so hard to find someone who can cut short hair on a woman that looks stylish and sophisticated, and she nailed it! She did it so effortlessly, too. Shes a true stylist, and I’m so glad I went to see her. I won’t be seeing anyone else from now on!

    Less than ideal experience at this salon at Fair Oaks mall. From the moment I made an appointment to checking out and paying for the haircut, the whole process was completely disorganized. I came to the salon to see if they accepted walk-ins, after seeing a sign advertising $12 student haircuts. The receptionist said yes and asks what service I was seeking to have done. Then I proceeded to say the hair appointment would be for my grade school child. The receptionist then says there is no room in the schedule for my daughter today. The salon had an appointment the next day and I booked it. Fast forward to the next day, we arrive 10 min early and are asked to wait in the waiting room, where another parent was waiting with their child. Both of our families were waiting 20 minutes when a somewhat flustered stylist comes to call for whoever had a 1pm appointment ( she didn't even know whose name she was calling.). She goes and checks and brings back the other family. We also had a 1pm appointment time, but I didn't stress too much because the other family was waiting there first. Afterwards, we are waiting 50 minutes into our appointment time. I asked the same receptionist who made our appointment the day earlier the status of when we would get called back. She had no clue. After waiting 10 more minutes, I ask the receptionist to please ask the stylist if they were even going to see my daughter because no one was bothering to tell me what was going on. She had me talk to a stylist who was in the midst of an involved hair procedure on another child. I was told it would be another 20 minutes. All the while this is happening, the salon is not busy at all, and I see two another stylists on the floor. By all means, I was not sure of the exact situation; these two stylists may have been on their lunch break . However, the biggest disappointment is that no one bothered to give us a status update and continued to let us wait without even gauging that my daughter’s haircut could have been an easy one to do. Which is it was-once she was finally called back, it took 10min to trim her hair. The stylist herself was nice, and my issue was not with her. My issue is how this salon's operations were run. Why would the salon run a promotion that is obviously not high production ($12 for a kid haircut) and not have sufficient staff to meet the demand for the clients partaking in this promotion? At the checkout, the stylist was not able to put in the code the $12 promotion, and tried to get me to pay more. At this point, I definitely was not having it. She had the receptionist check me out, and she seemed to know all along how to put in the code. This information could have been divulged to the stylist five minutes earlier. All these preceding events show there is no regard for customer satisfaction and the lack of desire for customers to return to this salon.

    Very bad hair salon. Overpriced and just bad. Monica was so bad I dont even know where to start. She has completely ruined my hair (color, style and quality) and it took her almost 3 hours. Out of the 3 hrs, only 1.5 hrs was spent on doing my my hair, the rest I was waiting around unattended. I will never return here and I don`t recommend Monica to anyone, she is absolutely the worst.

    After setting up an appointment online, I am walking in, when I am called and told that the stylist no longer works there. So Mina, took over the appointment. If you have an appointment here, and it is with Mina, just don't. It's the highest recommendation I can give. She handed me a brush and told me to brush my own hair while she goes and mixes color. Following, she verbally abused my hair! She claimed the lack of care, and health quality of my hair, and said that she will only touch my hair at my own responsibility. Yet, the last two times it was done, was from here. So if there is damage, it is there own fault. She also wanted to chop my hair in half... Two managers were called to the scene, where Mina became argumentative, and had to be told to stop. The worst experience ever - over getting my hair dyed. 0 stars if possible!
