  I don’t even know where to begin—this experience exceeded every expectation I had. I’m so grateful I found Jorge (@lazorratattoo_) on Instagram. From the very first message, he was professional, responsive, and genuinely invested in bringing my vision to life. Meeting him in person to plan out my sleeve sealed the deal. He walked me through every step, made sure I felt confident, and set clear expectations. A few days before starting, we sized everything out—and then it was go time: a 3-day, 3-session sleeve. Let me tell you… Jorge has the SOFTEST hand I’ve ever experienced. His patience, precision, and consistency are unmatched. This piece is deeply personal—a memorial for my mom—and he treated it with the care and attention it deserved. The level of detail and realism he achieved is absolutely incredible. He truly is a master of his craft. What made it even more inspiring is that Jorge doesn’t just tattoo—he teaches and mentors new artists. You can genuinely feel his passion for the craft and for helping others grow, which made me respect him even more. Not only is his work amazing, but he also made the entire experience comfortable and enjoyable. The studio ambiance was on point—clean, welcoming, and full of positive energy—and the music selection was AMAZING, which honestly made a huge difference during those long sessions. He kept the energy light, made me laugh, and somehow made 26 hours in the chair feel manageable. He knew exactly when I needed a break without me even saying a word. And I can’t forget the team—especially Isaak, he brought such great energy and vibes the entire time. It honestly felt like being surrounded by family, which made everything even more special. Minimal bleeding, insanely clean lines, and a final result that completely blew me away. I’m beyond happy with my sleeve and already looking forward to my next piece. If you’re thinking about getting work done—do yourself a favor and go to Ink Challenge in Fairfax. You will NOT regret it.   Fui por primera vez a este lugar . Me hice mi primer tattoo aquí la pensé tanto la verdad porque quería alguien profesional que me dejara algo como yo lo quería y la verdad quedé encantada les recomiendo este lugar al 100 especialmente a la señorita Mindy fue muy amable con migo yegue nerviosa pero rápido me sentí en confianza ella es muy buena en su trabajo 🫶🏼

  I got my tattoo done by Jorge at Ink Challenge. He made the process super easy for me. I told him all the details of what I was hoping for and he put together the art. The first picture shown is from 2 days after my first session with him, and the second picture is about a month after my second session with him (fully completed, healed tattoo). I can't say enough good things about the tattoo! It surpassed all of my expectations and Jorge's ability to include small details is second to none! I am especially impressed with the details he was able to add with white ink in our second session. Him and his staff are super friendly and made the tattooing experience easy and fun. I am so happy I found Jorge to do this tattoo for me and would definitely recommend him to anyone.

  I recently got my second tattoo with Wilson, it was a great experience. He is incredibly welcoming and friendly, which makes the whole process comfortable from start to finish. I truly love his work one of the best tattoo artists in the DMV. I’ve received many compliments on my tattoo, especially on how detailed and clean it is. He’s the best.

  I've had work done at ink challenge by 3 of their artist. Wilson, Jorge and Mindy all did excellent work. I plan to get more peices done by them. The staff there are professional, personable and very detailed with their approach and process. Their work stations are extremely organized and clean. They provided me with a great experience every time. I recommend Ink Challenge to anyone who is interested in getting tattooed.
