  Today, I brought my Dyson Airwrap Co-anda 2.0, which had an issue, to the Sephora Mosaic VA location. The cashier was very helpful, and especially the manager, Ada (I'm not completely sure if I spelled her name correctly). She helped me resolve the problem with great care and attention. I feel very grateful and truly appreciate her assistance today. She was even able to get my Dyson Airwrap working again without needing to replace or return it. Thank you, Ada, and thank you to the cashier for your dedicated help today.;))

  The staff here are so friendly! Out of all the Sephora’s in the area, this one is the best. I’m ignored a lot of the time I come into Sephora but today, I was greeted by a nice girl in the front and told about all the deals happening. Another girl named Maddie helped me out, and she was great and helped me find a couple items today, and was very knowledgeable about product. I’ve never been here before but I will definitely be coming back!!

  During the weekend, I came into the store about 30 minutes before closing. I really wanted to check out the new blushes by Glossier. I proceeded to ask one of the workers if they could help me out. I really wanted a second opinion on what would look best on my complexion. The worker ends up, putting blush on my face, without sanitizing the product. I was very taken it back because this was the very first time this has happened. I have never had an experience where a makeup artist has put make up on me without sanitizing the product first. It’s make up 101, you always sanitize! I didn’t have the courage to say anything, nor to make a scene. I ended up buying the product I wanted and leaving. On Monday, the day after the incident, both of my cheeks are red and have a load of whiteheads. I did not have acne the day prior. My face was perfectly clear up until that day. I called the store to let them know about the incident where the makeup artist did not sanitize and to inform them that my face had broken out as a result. The store manager at the time was a man, he said he would give me a call back and follow up with me, he never did. A few days later, today, I decide to give them a call back to see if they could Follow up with me on a resolution or if they spoken to the worker about proper sanitation. I ended up speaking to a store manager named Fatima. Fatima was the most unhinged, unprofessional, arrogant, and unwelcoming “manager” I’ve ever had the displeasure of speaking to. She blamed me for the situation, stated that makeup DOES NOT HAVE TO BE SANITIZED, and that no one would ever get a rash or have a skin flare up due to unclean makeup. When I explained to her that that is completely falls, she proceeded to say “what are you trying to say with your entire spiel”. This was the most unprofessional encounter I have ever had. I cannot believe someone as incompetent as her as a manager. How can I ever trust anyone with make up there? They don’t even believe in proper sanitation. The manager, Fatima, doesn’t believe in proper sanitation. I don’t feel safe with her knowing my information. I don’t feel safe knowing that she has access to my account. The way she spoke to me sounded very vindictive. I honestly feel like my account is compromised due to her lack of professionalism. My skin is flared up due to one of their workers. This could have been preventative if proper sanitation took place. Do not go here if you want to be properly helped.

  The staff at this Sephora are incredibly rude. I came to buy several items, and while waiting in line, a petite woman with a dark hair store assistant came over with a mobile checkout machine. After I paid, she mumbled something about sending my receipt by email. Since English is my second language, I didn’t understand and asked her to repeat. She became visibly irritated and rude. This is a new low for Sephora — not something you expect in high end cosmetic store. Its time to boycott Sephora and buying directly from brands until they start hiring and training polite staff.
