If you do not understand instructions do nothing until you do understand. The back of my head will take 2 months to repair. I will go back to cutting my own hair. Never again will I enter your shop

The worst hair cut i have gotten in years. Very sloppy done. She went through my hair twice with the scissors and that was it. After the haircut i still had all my damaged ends left, and can’t arrange my hair since. Will have to go get another haircut soon, cos my hair looks bad. $50 spent on nothing. Very disappointing.

Hair Cuttery with Stylist Lucy is THE best. I’ve been to many high end salons in NewYork and Other places. This lady gave me a great cut mid to long length hair. Blowout was exactly what I wanted. Lucy is the lady with the feel for your hair and what you want

The two haircuts I had at this particular Hair Cuttery had been pleasant. My cuts were done by the same stylist Gaby and she was very professional and knew her craft well. My only dissatisfaction was due to me not being specific enough about what I wanted done, which I ended up with a haircut that was a bit different than my usual cut. Though that was to be expected with trying out the new hair stylist, especially after I went to same one for over 20 years.

I chose to book here after seeing several positive reviews online, which makes this experience even more disappointing. Before the haircut started, I showed her a clear reference photo and explicitly confirmed that I wanted a medium-to-long length. She only glanced at the picture briefly and quickly agreed, which already made me unsure whether she truly understood what I was asking for. During the hair wash, she asked whether I wanted to add a treatment. I declined. After that, she seemed distracted and kept looking around the salon at other people and different areas instead of focusing on washing and cutting my hair. It felt like her attention was not fully on the service she was providing. Before cutting the curtain bangs, she asked again and I showed her the same photo a second time. Despite this, she did not even part my hair down the center or check for symmetry between the left and right sides — which are very basic and fundamental steps in any haircut. That was concerning. I understand that blow-drying was not included in the service I selected. However, I left the salon covered in loose hair with absolutely no cleanup. When I got home, I had to change my clothes. After blow-drying my hair myself, I discovered that the conditioner had not been rinsed out properly. On top of that, the length has no proper blending or transition — it looks uneven and layered in harsh “steps” rather than smooth layers. Although she was polite during the appointment, the final result is completely different from what I requested — both in style and in length. I’m extremely disappointed with the overall quality, professionalism, and attention to detail.
